Zingerman's Fantastic Pound Cake

Yes, yes, we know they recommend it  to be served with tea or with fruit and whipped cream.  All good suggestions but we loved it drizzled with hot butterscotch sauce for me,  and hot bittersweet fudge for the Mr. - heaven!

We found it at www.zingermans.com...and  so can you along with delicious fresh breads  and  all manner of excellent edibles.

Almond Pound Cake
Can't beat the bundt.
Using the same classic bundt pans that make our coffeecakes so delicious, the almond pound cake we’ve served for years in Ann Arbor has gotten so good it’s time for it to go national.
The extra surface area has given it more of a thin, buttery crust around the cake. And because the bundt pan has a hole in the middle, the texture is lighter than ever. Rich, super moist and packed with sweet smelling natural almond paste, this is an ace cake to serve with tea.
