As we know, youngsters love machinery - this boldly illustrated book will take them on a tour of job sites as it shows them what each machine must do in order to finish the work.
A graphic artist who has worked in communication for some two decades Nathan Clement definitely knew how to make his point when he created this book, which is filled with bright full page pictures done in primary colors taking us from a project’s start to finish.
Clement opens with a fellow in a hard hat pointing to an area and saying, “Boss says, ‘Level that pile!’” He continues to digging a hole, the loader scooping out rock, a dump truck pouring in gravel and so on. (My favorite illustration may be of the crane lifting stones into place just below the clouds.)
JOB SITE is a sure to please children’s book.
