How To Be A Good Cat by Gail Page
Young cat and dog lovers will enjoy this story of the meeting of feline and canine plus the ensuing results. Gail Page’s story is succinct letting her humorous full page illustrations say more than words ever could. Anyone who owns or has owned a kitten knows very well how attracted these small rascals are to bathroom tissue and curtains! However, Bobo, a helpful dog, didn’t know that or very much else about kittens.
When Mr. Hiccup asked Mrs. Birdhead if someone could look after Bonkers, his kitten, Bobo happily volunteered, which is where the fun begins. Bobo thinks Bonkers is very cute but also extremely naughty. He tried to teach Bonkers to be a good cat, but nothing worked. She couldn’t learn to sit or fetch and “Stay was a complete disaster.”
Fortunately he knew someone who could give him some helpful advice. Understanding goes a long way as Bobo learns the mysterious ways of kittens.
