, Vogue: The Covers is the definitive cover collection from what is arguably the world’s most influential fashion magazine. The first issue of the magazine was published on December 17, 1892, so in order to create the book we had to cull through 119 years of covers in order to deliver more than 600 of the most beautiful, provocative, and fashionable magazine covers ever produced. Organized by decade, the book is really an illustrated history of the magazine and its incredible evolution from the illustrated covers at the turn of the century to the (often) celebrity-driven covers of today. Seeing them all in one collection, along with the stories behind the covers themselves and the cultural and political highlights of each decade, is a very exciting journey.
