As you can see this Nueske’s Breakfast Basket is almost too pretty to open, but open it we did and enjoyed a marvelous breakfast. Such a lovely way to start the day!
The basket holds 4 waffles that simply need to be heated. These aren’t at all like the thin, crispy waffles we remembered but they’re thick, almost like a sweet cake and totally delicious. There are 2 Cinnamon flavored and 2 Belgian waffles. No need for syrup, although a jar of Wisconsin Pure Maple Syrup is included (we saved that for next Sunday’s pancakes).
What a waffle without bacon? The basket holds thick slices of Nueske’s Wild Cherrywood Smoked Bacon as well as their Canadian Bacon - plenty for quite a few breakfasts.
The basket itself is special with fold down handles - perfect for a fruit centerpiece, Easter treats, balls of yarn, etc.
