NORA ROBERTS COLLECTION: Villa, Midnight Bayou, Three Fates Audio Edition

Question: What’s better than a story by Nora Roberts?  Answer: Three of them!  Yes, three tales by one of the best-selling authors of our time and better yet 40 hours of topnotch listening!

The first story is The Villa which not only boasts a TALE of love but also a superb narration by Laural Merlington.  Sophia Giambelli has led a storied life since she was born into one of the most famous  wine families.  Not only are their wines well known throughout the U.S. and the world but they’re also extremely popular but now all of that is about to change.  Sophia has never known competition as Villa Giambelli has a three generation history of producing only the finest.  Now Tereza, the family matriarch, has decided to merge with the MacMillan family’s winery.  And that merger includes Sophia working with Tyler MacMillan which proves to be a heady experience.

Next we’re treated to James Daniels and his vocal performance of Midnight Bayou.  Sound intriguing, a bit dangerous?  It is!  While Declan Fitzgerald has always kept his family and friends on their toes even he cannot explain what caused him to buy a rundown mansion on the fringes of New Orleans.  Not only did he buy Manet Hall but he’s dead set on returning it to its former glory.  This is more than a daunting task and he decides to renovate one room at a time.  All of this might have been more than Declan could handle were it not for the presence of the extremely attractive Angelina Simone.  But even she cannot cause him to completely ignore mysterious happenings that occur again and again in the house.  Is Angelina in any way connected to these occurences or to Manet Hall itself?  What secrets does the old mansion hold?

Three Fates takes us back to the sinking of the Lusitania, tragedy at sea which took the lives of over one thousand people.  However, one passenger survived and the experience changed him as it would most.  He had been a petty thief  but gave up that life save for keeping a small silver statue that would become a family heirloom for generations to come.  Then as times passes that heirloom, which is one of a priceless set of three, is taken from the Sullivans.  After all these years that cannot be, so Malachi Gideon and Rebecca Sullivan are determined to get back their great-grandfather’s gift to them and return it to the other two thus making their fortune.  What chance do they have of accomplishing this and who will they meet along the way?

Three can’t stop listening to tales for your enjoyment!
