Sandra Brown Does It Again!

Fans of Sandra Brown know what they’re getting when they opt for another story by this mega selling author - romance, then the love boat appears to be sinking, and finally as has been interminably said love conquers all.  For this reader/listener Brown’s work is “escapist”literature - an easy read/listen on the beach or plane.

What raises the bar for me on this story is one more superb vocal performance by Renee Raudman.  She’s an accomplished actress who brings understanding and depth to her narrations.  Raudman’s easy to listen to voice makes a predictable plot pleasurable.

Handsome, powerful Josh Bennett (have we ever seen a Brown hero who was not blessed in the looks department?) has set his sights on Megan Lambert.  She’s a young attractive widow who seems to have nothing on her mind but work.  That’s a good choice  for her because she’s sales manager for an Atlanta radio station and the demands of that job are great.  Josh is a major advertiser so she can’t afford not to play nice with him, but he wants a great deal more than playing nice.  How does he go about getting it?  As is her wont Brown treats us to a bit of a twist with that one.

Brown well knows what pleases her followers, and she delivers it again in TEMPTATION’S KISS.
